Who am I?
I was raised in the village of Ngawha Springs in Te Taitokerau. As the eldest grandchild on my mother’s side and the eldest of a blended family of 10 siblings, it has always been my role to care and support those around me

Experience in Māori Suicide Prevention
I completed a Bachelor of Social Practice from Unitec in 2013 and has since dedicated my career to working with iwi and community services. With over 12 years of experience in social and youth work across Te Taitokerau, my expertise spans youth justice, family violence, self-harm, and whānau ora. My work has involved all stages of prevention: pre, inter, and post-vention, reflecting a comprehensive approach to addressing mental health challenges.
